Fun Educational Activities for Your Learners!

Hey there friends!

How are you holding up? Are you feeling out of sorts and unsettled, too?

Things have changed a lot since I sent you my last email just a few days ago. I was planning a trip across the world, which has since been cancelled. I was feeling a little nervous about the future, but not at all like now! It is a surreal feeling to watch the entire country close down.

My kids have been anxious and we are all a little bit stir crazy. My husband is figuring out how to do all of his work online (he is a family therapist). And I am feeling immensely grateful to already have my kids at home with me.

I want to let you all know that I am here to help! While the world is in turmoil, you don’t have to feel that.

You can feel at peace knowing that things will be ok. We can all get through this together. I have loved watching many large companies offering their services and products free for educators and parents. I have loved seeing teachers working together to solve all of these questions. Homeschool parents who have been doing this for years, are reaching out and offering support and tips. We are a supportive bunch and we can figure this out! Please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask questions.

I have been contemplating what things may best help those of you who suddenly have your kids at home. Or, if you are a teaching trying to figure out how to support your students from a distance, I have ideas for you, too.

I have been at this homeschooling thing for 12 years now. And while I don’t have all of the answers, I do have lots of ideas and resources that can support you through this time.
